Groupage is not always standard
In practice, many groupage shipments do not fit a simple template. The goods may be long, high, irregular in shape, heavier than a typical pallet or require special securing. In these cases, a standard pallet price list is often not enough.
At ABCGF, we check such enquiries individually. We analyse the dimensions, weight, type of goods, route and loading and unloading method. This helps us look for a solution that fits the actual load, instead of rejecting the shipment only because it does not look like a standard pallet.

Unusual dimensions as an advantage
Unusual dimensions do not necessarily mean that a shipment is impossible. Often, they simply mean that loading, securing, carrier availability and the route must be checked more carefully.
This is one of the areas where ABCGF can genuinely help companies shipping technical materials, production components, long elements, structures, parts or goods that do not fit standard pallet assumptions.
We do not automatically promise that every load can be handled. First, we check feasibility and suggest a solution matched to the shipment parameters.

What information should you send for a quote?
For groupage and non-standard shipments, specific data matters most. The more accurate the description, the faster we can check feasibility and prepare a sensible quote. For standard pallets and groupage shipments, you can use the quote form. If the load has unusual dimensions, choose “Non-standard load / unusual dimensions” in the form and describe the packaging and loading conditions.

FAQ
Does ABCGF handle groupage only from Wrocław?
No. The groupage service covers shipments across the European Union. Wrocław and the surrounding area are an important operational point, but enquiries can cover different routes in the EU.
Can I send a load with unusual dimensions?
Such enquiries are checked individually. We need dimensions, weight, a description of the goods, packaging details and loading and delivery locations.
Is every non-standard shipment accepted?
Not always. First, we check feasibility, carrier availability, loading method and securing requirements. This gives the customer a real answer, not an empty promise.
